Watch your player in any moment of a game and there’s much more happening than what you see on the ball. They’re constantly moving, scanning, reading the game, making decisions and executing — often under pressure and with only seconds to react.
That’s why our training is built around four interconnected areas: physical, technical, mental and emotional.
Physical
Improve how you move to better control the ball.
An age-appropriate athletic foundation helps you move efficiently, execute skills and meet the evergrowing physical demands of the game.
Includes: balance, coordination, agility, endurance and the ability to effectively change direction and speed.
Technical
Learn the skills to manipulate the ball.
Develop the technique to control the ball consistently and execute different actions with either foot, at speed and under pressure.
Includes: receiving, ground & aerial ball control, turning, passing, dribbling, finishing, defending and more.
Mental
Understand time & space to make better decisions.
Learn to understand the context of the game — what is happening around you, what options you have, and when, where and why to use them.
Includes: scanning, awareness, positioning, time & space, anticipation, decision-making and tactical understanding.
Emotional
Build resilience to overcome setbacks.
Develop the confidence and resilience to compete, take risks, respond to mistakes and keep going when the game gets difficult.
Includes: confidence, resilience, focus, competitiveness, teamwork, and handling pressure.
